Takeda Pharmaceuticals announced new data from two critical phase 3 studies of zesoxitinib in adult patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. Zesoxitinib is a new generation, highly selective, and potent oral tyrosine kinase 2 inhibitor. These secondary endpoint data, published at the American Academy of Dermatology Innovation Academy in 2026, showed consistent and high skin clearance rates compared to placebo in difficult to treat and high-impact areas, including scalp, fingers/toenails, palms, and plantar.
