SDIC Power announced that Yalong River Basin Hydropower Development Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of the company, plans to establish a joint venture with Ningde Times to establish Yalong River Yagen Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. to invest in the construction of the Yagen Secondary Hydropower Station. The Yagen Level 2 Hydropower Station is a third-level hydropower station under the “One Bank and Seven Level” hydropower development plan in the middle reaches of the Yalong River. The total installed capacity is 2.4 million kilowatts, and the estimated annual power generation capacity is about 8.645 billion kilowatt-hours. The total investment in project dynamics is 33.394 billion yuan, of which the capital is 6.679 billion yuan, accounting for 20% of the total investment. The construction period of the project is 101 months. It is expected that the first unit will be put into operation in 2035, and all will be completed and put into operation in 2036.
