The National Health Commission immediately arranged for the national emergency medical rescue team and the Chongqing emergency medical rescue team to dispatch medical personnel and ambulances to the scene; immediately dispatched relevant responsible comrades to the local area to guide medical treatment work, and organized national experts from Beijing Jishuitan Hospital specializing in trauma, severe illness, and neurology to form a medical treatment team with local medical staff to conduct multidisciplinary consultations and develop a “one person, one policy” diagnosis and treatment plan to do its best to save lives and reduce disability due to injury. Instruct Chongqing City to select psychological experts to provide psychological counseling and counseling for the injured and their families. The National Health Commission will continue to support Chongqing in medical treatment and other work for the wounded, and deploy additional national experts at any time as needed to make every effort to reduce losses and protect lives.
