With the rapid development of space technology and commercial aerospace, space photovoltaics, as the energy core of spacecraft, is becoming a key technology supporting strategic missions such as space exploration, satellite communication, and space solar power plants. At the same time, the expansion of emerging scenarios such as the low-altitude economy and high-altitude drones also places higher demands on the efficiency, weight, and high reliability of photovoltaic systems in extreme environments, promoting the expansion of space photovoltaics to space integration applications. As a frontier field of deep integration between photovoltaics and aerospace, space photovoltaics is an important direction for China to seize strategic energy and expand new space for photovoltaic applications. To develop lower-cost space photovoltaic technology to support the future large-scale development of the space photovoltaic market, it is necessary to gather resources from various sources such as photovoltaics, aerospace, and satellites to advance collaboratively. To this end, the China Photovoltaic Industry Association plans to publicly solicit experts from the entire public to jointly carry out policy research, technical research, and standard preparation of the space photovoltaic industry.
