The Chinese Academy of Information and Communications Technology has officially launched the development of a series of public cloud standards. The aim is to standardize the supply quality of public cloud services, reduce the difficulty of user selection and application, and guide the public cloud industry from “scale expansion” to “capacity refinement” by establishing a scientific, complete, and quantifiable standard system. In the next step, the Chinese Academy of Information and Communications Technology will rely on the Public Cloud Innovation and Development Empowerment Center to simultaneously promote the three major ecological support tasks: continue to prepare public cloud industry development research reports, carry out industry-wide public cloud innovation application practice activities, and organize the “Public Cloud · Entering the Enterprise” series of industry research. At the same time, build a public cloud industry service platform, open up communication channels for cloud service providers, industry users, and scientific research institutions, and use this as a link to accelerate the leap from being usable and easy to use to being inclusive and popular.
