Xi Jinping pointed out that thanks to the joint efforts of all parties, the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization came into being in Shanghai. This is a major step for China to respond to the call of the global South and unite the international community to actively promote the development and governance of artificial intelligence. Xi Jinping announced that in order to further support the development of global artificial intelligence and promote global artificial intelligence capacity building, in the next five years, China will provide 5,000 training places on artificial intelligence topics to developing countries; build an international artificial intelligence application cooperation center for ASEAN, the Arab Union, the African Union, the Latin American Community, the SCO, and the BRICS countries; promote the implementation of the intelligent meteorological warning program “Mazu” in 30 countries, watch for thousands of lights, and protect Anlan all over the world.
