Moody's Cuts Victoria plc's Rating on Weaker-than-expected Operating Performance

07:41 AM EDT, 07/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Moody's on Thursday downgraded Victoria plc's (VCP.L) corporate family rating to Caa2 from Caa1, with a negative outlook. The rating downgrade reflects the British flooring products company's weaker-than-expected operating performance, after it issued company-adjusted EBITDA guidance for fiscal 2026 that came in lower than the rating agency's original expectations. For the negative outlook, Moody's noted uncertainty around the recovery of Victoria plc's operating performance, as well as its negative free cash flow expectations for the company, which will weaken liquidity over the next 12 to 18 months.
