China Industrial International (002051.SZ) signed a commercial contract of about 644 million yuan for the construction project of the port of Cabo in Nicaragua

According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Industrial International (002051.SZ) announced that on July 16, 2026, the company and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Nicaragua signed a commercial contract for the construction project (section 1 and 2) of the port of transport and infrastructure in Nicaragua. The total contract amount for the port construction project in Nigeria (section 1 and section 2) is US$94.85 million, equivalent to approximately RMB 644 million, or 5.57% of the company's total revenue of RMB 11.568 billion in 2025. The execution of this contract will have a positive impact on the company's operating performance for the next two years.

The contract amount for the first phase of the port construction project in Nigeria was 59.9 million US dollars, and the contract amount for the second phase was 34.95 million US dollars. The project is located in the autonomous region of the Southern Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua. The first section of the project involves the construction of a multi-purpose terminal and supporting projects that can dock a 50,000-ton ship. The scope of work includes procurement, construction, etc., and the contract period is 18 months from the date of notification of commencement of construction. The second section of the project includes the construction of supporting roads, bridges, etc. for the wharf. The contract period is 16 months from the date of the notice of commencement of construction.
