Nuochengjianhua (09969): The phase III registration trial of soficitinib (ICP-332) for the treatment of severe atopic dermatitis successfully reached its main end

Zhitong Finance App News, Nuocheng Jianhua (09969) announced that the next-generation oral tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2) inhibitor soficitinib (ICP-332) independently developed by the company successfully reached its main end in a phase III registered clinical trial for the treatment of patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD).

This phase III study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter registration clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of soficitinib (ICP-332) in adults with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.

Research results showed that soficitinib (ICP-332) reached the primary endpoint, was statistically significant, and achieved clinically significant improvements. Furthermore, it also successfully reached a number of secondary endpoints, showing that it has consistent treatment effects in various efficacy evaluation indicators. Detailed efficacy and safety data of this study will be published at subsequent international academic conferences and submitted to peer-reviewed medical journals.

The safety of Soficitinib (ICP-332) is consistent with previous clinical findings, and no new safety signals have been found.

The company will continue to complete the ongoing Phase III study, including long-term safety follow-up, and plans to advance the registration of soficitinib (ICP-332) for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis after completion of the study.
