In the first half of the year, the country's per capita disposable income was 22,981 yuan, a nominal increase of 5.2% over the same period last year. After deducting price factors, the actual increase was 4.2%. Looking at urban and rural areas, the per capita disposable income of urban residents was 30,126 yuan, an increase of 4.4% (all nominal year-on-year increases, if not specified below). Excluding price factors, the actual increase was 3.4%; the per capita disposable income of rural residents was 12,699 yuan, an increase of 6.4%. After deducting price factors, the actual increase was 5.5%.

Residents' income and consumption expenditure in the first half of 2026
I. The income situation of residents
In the first half of the year, the country's per capita disposable income was 22,981 yuan, a nominal increase of 5.2% over the same period last year. After deducting price factors, the actual increase was 4.2%. Looking at urban and rural areas, the per capita disposable income of urban residents was 30,126 yuan, an increase of 4.4% (all nominal year-on-year increases, if not specified below). According to income sources, in the first half of the year, the country's per capita wage income was 13,298 yuan, an increase of 5.3%, accounting for 57.9% of disposable income; per capita net operating income of 3,628 yuan, an increase of 6.5%, accounting for 15.8% of disposable income; per capita net property income of 1,845 yuan, an increase of 1.1%, accounting for 8.0% of disposable income; and net transfer income per capita of 4,210 yuan, an increase of 5.8%, accounting for 18.3% of disposable income.
In the first half of the year, the country's median per capita disposable income was 1,9036 yuan, an increase of 4.7%, and the median figure was 82.8% of the average. Among them, the median per capita disposable income of urban residents was 26,389 yuan, an increase of 4.0%, or 87.6% of the average; the median per capita disposable income of rural residents was 10,649 yuan, an increase of 5.9%, and the median was 83.9% of the average.

II. Consumer spending
In the first half of the year, the country's per capita consumption expenditure was 14,836 yuan, a nominal increase of 3.7% over the same period last year. After deducting price factors, the actual increase was 2.7%. Looking at urban and rural areas, the per capita consumption expenditure of urban residents was 1,8071 yuan, an increase of 3.0%. After deducting price factors, the actual increase was 2.0%; the per capita consumption expenditure of rural residents was 10,0,180 yuan, an increase of 4.6%. After deducting the price factor, the actual increase was 3.8%.
In the first half of the year, the country's per capita consumption expenditure on food, tobacco and alcohol was 4,537 yuan, up 4.2%, accounting for 30.6%; per capita consumption expenditure on clothing was 880 yuan, up 4.4%, accounting for 5.9%; per capita household consumption expenditure was 3,135 yuan, up 1.4%, accounting for 21.1% of per capita consumption expenditure; per capita consumption expenditure on household goods and services was 847 yuan, an increase of 5.3%, accounting for 5.7% of per capita consumption expenditure; per capita transportation and communication consumption expenditure was 2,065 yuan, an increase of 4.7%, accounting for 4.7% The share of consumer expenditure was 13.9%; per capita expenditure on education, culture and entertainment was 1,572 yuan, up 4.9%, accounting for 10.6% of per capita consumption expenditure; per capita expenditure on health care was 1,330 yuan, an increase of 1.2%, accounting for 9.0% of per capita consumption expenditure; consumption of other goods and services per capita was 470 yuan, an increase of 9.3%, accounting for 3.2% of per capita consumption expenditure.
