The wholesale price index for “vegetable basket” products was 111.18, up 0.36 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 16.05 yuan/kg, up 0.6% from yesterday; beef 66.55 yuan/kg, down 0.2% from yesterday; lamb 64.64 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday; eggs 9.85 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday; and white striped chicken 17.57 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday. The average price of the 28 types of vegetables monitored was 4.18 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday; the average price of the 6 types of fruit monitored was 7.00 yuan/kg, down 1.3% from yesterday. Crucian carp was 20.20 yuan/kg, down 1.4% from yesterday; carp was 14.63 yuan/kg, down 0.8% from yesterday; white mackerel was 10.47 yuan/kg, the same as yesterday; and large octopus was 40.64 yuan/kg, down 2.1% from yesterday. Today, out of the 46 varieties monitored by the domestic fresh agricultural products wholesale market, the top five price increases compared with yesterday were cucumbers, spinach, rapeseed, shallots, and lettuce, which were 7.5%, 3.8%, 3.1%, 1.7%, and 1.5%, respectively; the top five price declines were lettuce, mackerel, large octopus, winter melon, and pineapples, with ranges of 3.7%, 2.3%, 2.1%, 2.0%, and 1.8%, respectively.
