According to reports, the European Commission said it has ordered social media platform X to keep all internal files and data relating to its built-in artificial intelligence chatbot Grok until the end of 2026. The agency's technical affairs spokesperson said that the document preservation order was an extended measure against the X platform. Previously, the European Union issued a rectification order last year regarding the role of the platform's algorithm and recommendation system in spreading illegal content. He added that the Committee had received responses from Platform X to the request for information and was currently evaluating its content.
