According to the latest survey by TrendForce Jibang Consulting, Nvidia adjusted the HBM4 specifications of the Rubin platform in the third quarter of 2025 and raised the speed per pin requirement to higher than 11 Gbps, causing the three major HBM suppliers to revise their designs. Furthermore, the AI boom spurred demand for Nvidia's previous generation Blackwell products to be better than expected, and the Rubin platform mass production schedule adjusted accordingly. Both factors have delayed the release of HBM4, and mass production is expected to begin as soon as the end of the first quarter of 2026.
