Extreme Krypton obtained the Hangzhou Global L3 Test License as standard with Sagiteng Juchuang (02498) 520-line digital lidar

The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to information from the Hangzhou Economic and Credit Bureau, the Qianli H9 system equipped with the Krypton 9X has officially obtained an L3 autonomous road test license. The license covers more than 9,200 square kilometers of roads throughout Hangzhou. According to information, it is currently the L3 test license with the largest coverage area in the country. One of the important foundations of this breakthrough is that the licensed Qianli H9 system is equipped with the Sagiteng Juchuang (02498) 520-line super-view digital lidar as standard. This product is currently the only automotive lidar with 500 lines or more that can be mass-produced in the industry.

Higher line numbers mean higher resolution and richer ability to sense environmental details, which provides key hardware support for L3 level autonomous driving to achieve the transformation of responsible entities in the system.

As L3 testing and regulations advance, the need for high-performance sensing hardware is becoming increasingly clear.
