The “Draft for Solicitation of Comments” proposes to raise the level of payment coverage for prenatal examinations. Prenatal examination fees incurred by employee health insurance participants at designated medical institutions at various levels are covered by the employee health insurance general outpatient treatment after being paid in accordance with regulations by the maternity insurance fixed allowance for prenatal examinations. The general outpatient reimbursement policy is implemented within the fixed benefit limit. The reimbursement rate for antenatal examination expenses incurred by resident health insurance participants at designated medical institutions at all levels was unified at 50%, and the payment limit was combined with the residents' health insurance general outpatient clinic coverage, raised to 1,000 yuan per year.
