Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkader Uraloglu announced on the 7th local time that the Turkish authorities have decided to send the two black boxes of the Libyan military aircraft that crashed in Ankara, the flight data recorder and the cockpit voice recorder, to the UK for technical repairs and data extraction. Uraloglu said that although the investigators successfully found the black box after the crash occurred, it was difficult to read with conventional technical means due to serious impact damage. After comprehensive evaluation by multiple parties, it was finally selected for repair and decoding in the UK.
