It has played an important role in deepening cross-strait integration and development and improving the welfare of compatriots on both sides of the Strait. “Xiaosantong” started with routes between Xiamen and Malaysia, and has now opened 4 regular routes, closely connecting the coast of Fujian with Kinmen and Matsu, and has also opened a new situation of direct communication between people on both sides of the Strait. Currently, “Little Three Links” have become a “pioneer channel” for building “the first home for Taiwanese compatriots and Taiwanese enterprises to land”, a “golden artery” for deepening economic and trade cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan, and the two sides of the Strait, and promoting deep integration between the two sides of the Strait. Up to now, “Xiaosantong” has safely transported more than 26 million passengers.
