The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing today released the China Logistics Industry Sentiment Index for December 2025. Judging from the annual data, the average of the four quarters of the sentiment index rebounded steadily. The December sentiment index was the highest in 2025, and demand for logistics business in the real economy continued to be active. In December 2025, China's logistics industry sentiment index was 52.4%, up 1.5 percentage points from month to month. Among the main indicators, the total business volume index, equipment utilization index, new order index, capital turnover index, and employee index were in the expansion range and continued to recover from month to month. The total logistics business index was 52.4% in December 2025. It has been recovering for 2 consecutive months. The total business volume index in the eastern region, central region and western region was balanced and improving, at 51.7%, 52% and 52.9%, respectively, up 1.2, 1.0 and 1.7 percentage points from the previous month. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the average value of the total logistics business index was 51.3%, 0.4 percentage points higher than the average for the third quarter.
