i-CABLE Communications Falls To HK$0.10, But Insiders Sold At Lower Price

Simply Wall St · 4d ago

Even though i-CABLE Communications Limited (HKG:1097) has fallen by 13% over the past week , insiders who sold HK$2.2m worth of stock over the past year have had less luck. Given that the average selling price of HK$0.13 is still lower than the current share price, insiders would probably have been better off keeping their shares.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

i-CABLE Communications Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

The insider, Hung Sang Ng, made the biggest insider sale in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for HK$2.2m worth of shares at a price of HK$0.13 each. While insider selling is a negative, to us, it is more negative if the shares are sold at a lower price. The silver lining is that this sell-down took place above the latest price (HK$0.10). So it is hard to draw any strong conclusion from it. The only individual insider seller over the last year was Hung Sang Ng.
