Broadway Street Debuts 252-Unit Austin-Area Apartment Community

Broadway Street Development delivered The Preserve at Mustang Creek, an $88 million, 252-unit affordable housing community located in Red Rock, outside Austin.

Commercial Search reports the community is geared towards renters earning 30 to 60 percent of the area median income. The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs provided partial funding for the project.

Construction on The Preserve, located at 1401 County Road 118, began in December 2023. It was built by Cadence McShane Construction Co. and designed by Merriman Anderson Architects,

The Preserve has a mix of one- to four-bedroom floorplans ranging in size from 736 square feet to 1,382 square feet. Features include private patios or balconies.

Amenities of the three-story garden-style buildings include a clubhouse, which includes a fitness center with a dedicated spin room, a café kitchen, an activity room and indoor playscape. Other community amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, picnic areas with barbecue grills, and outdoor playground.
