According to a review of relevant public information, it was discovered that 30 projects were started simultaneously in Nanshan District, with a total investment of 31 billion yuan, ranking first in all districts of the city, including the “Pan-Video Technology Research and Development Headquarters” located on Yuehai Street. According to “Innovation Nanshan”, the project is positioned as Douyin's second headquarters, focusing on supporting R&D work for core products such as Douyin and Today's Headline and new businesses such as payments, and simultaneously constructing the ByteDance AiLab Research Center and SaaS Platform Service Center. This is not the first time Douyin has acquired land in Shenzhen. Around July 2025, Douyin Group's first self-owned regional headquarters, Douyin Group Houhai Center, officially opened, carrying the company's core functions of business management and technology research and development in the Greater Bay Area.
