The Central African Republic's national election agency announced the preliminary results of the first round of voting in the presidential election on the evening of the 5th. Current President Touadella won more than half of the votes and won the election. Preliminary results show that current President Tuvadella, candidate of the ruling party's Solidarity Movement, received about 894,500 votes, or 76.15% of the vote. Former Prime Minister Dologuele won 14.66% of the vote, ranking second.
