Currently, it is considering whether to further adjust the loan structure, reduce the proportion of long-term bonds, and shift towards ultra-short-term debt. The UK Treasury and Debt Management Office issued a series of inquiries to market participants on the “expansion and deepening” of the so-called T-bill market. Other countries, including the US, have begun to rely more on short-term bonds to meet their financing needs.
