Sony Honda Mobility Inc. has initiated trial production of its first electric vehicle model, AFEELA 1, at the East Liberty Auto Plant in Ohio, operated by Honda Development & Manufacturing of America. This effort is part of the company's preparations for mass production of the innovative EV. In conjunction with this, the company has established a "Quality Gate" inspection facility in Ohio that performs comprehensive inspections to ensure both manufacturing quality and the seamless operation of AFEELA 1's advanced technological features. The facility also plays a role in enhancing production quality through feedback loops between design and manufacturing processes.
