In order to regulate the charging of motor vehicle parking services, the official website of the Guangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission recently published the “Administrative Measures on Service Charges for Motor Vehicle Parking Facilities in Guangzhou” to solicit public comments. The “Administrative Measures” suggest that motor vehicle parking service charges shall be managed by government pricing, government guidance prices, or market price adjustments in accordance with law. Among them, road parking space usage fees are subject to government pricing management, and the maximum charge in key regions is no more than 200 yuan at a time.
