The newly signed project will support the “Lianyou Phase III” project being built by Guangzhou Lianyou Energy Co., Ltd., a key enterprise in the region, which mainly produces carbon black for tires. After completion, it will further promote the extension of the regional industry-related industrial chain to meet the demand for thermal energy in the surrounding area. According to estimates, the electricity procurement cost of “Union Oil Phase III” can be reduced by 10% to 30% compared to the price of the power grid, while reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 200,000 tons per year.
