According to statistics from the Hengqin Border Checkpoint at the Zhuhai Border Control Terminal, a total of 147,000 inbound and outbound passengers were inspected on January 1, setting a record high of single-day passenger flow at this port, an increase of 84% over the previous year. Among them, there were more than 100,000 mainland visitors to Australia, accounting for 71% of the total number of visitors that day. At the same time, more than 11,000 inbound and outbound vehicles were inspected, of which the number of single-license vehicles exceeded 7,000, accounting for about 63%.
