Two ETFs on the Shanghai Stock Exchange entered overseas markets for the first time using the DR model. Today, Huaxia Fund and Thai brokerage firm InnovestX Securities simultaneously listed depository certificates linked to the “Huaxia Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 ETF” and the “Huaxia Science and Technology Innovation 50 ETF” on the Thai Stock Exchange. This is the first time that an ETF listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange has entered overseas markets using the DR model. It is also another important step forward in deepening cooperation between the Chinese and Thai capital markets under the “Belt and Road” framework. On November 25 of this year, depository certificates using the Invesco Great Wall GEM 50 ETF as the underlying asset were listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. For the first time, China's A-share listed ETF was listed and traded in Thailand in the form of depository certificates. As more Chinese ETFs continue to go overseas, a steady stream of overseas medium- to long-term “living water” has been introduced into the market.
