Zhitong Finance App News, Minimally Invasive Robot-B (02252) issued an announcement. The bronchoscopic surgery robot Dudao® UniPathTM electronic bronchoscopic operation navigation system (Dudao) independently developed by the Group has been officially approved by the National Drug Administration (NMPA).

This NMPA approval is a landmark breakthrough for the Group leading the development of technology and applications in the global field of surgical robotics. It also marks that domestic surgical robots have achieved systematic full coverage in the key technology path of minimally non-invasive diagnosis and treatment. So far, the number of products approved for the marketing of the Group in the field of surgical robots has increased to 7, making it the first and currently the only company in the world to commercialize all of the “Five Golden Races” products of surgical robots. A domestic surgical robot ecosystem continuously built by the Group, with systematic innovation as the core, supported by platform-based capability output, and with system integrity, technical depth and sustainable evolution capabilities, is being developed at an accelerated pace and is entering a stage of large-scale development.

The newly approved Dokudo is a non-invasive natural cavity robotic surgery platform. It has an ultra-flexible, ultra-slim, snake-shaped robotic catheter that can enter narrow, hard-to-reach lesion spaces without surface trauma through the body's natural cavity. It is of great significance for early diagnosis and treatment of early cancer lesions such as small lung nodules.

As a typical example of robots for natural cavity surgery, bronchoscopic surgery robots are seen as an important technical path for advancing minimally invasive surgery to “less traumatic, no surface incisions”. It is also one of the fastest growing smart minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment platforms in the field of respiratory intervention in recent years.

Dudao integrates key technologies such as precise robot control, slim and flexible catheter navigation, intelligent path planning, and closed-loop control at the system level to build an overall solution for complex lung anatomical environments. It focuses on the four core capabilities of “full lung accessibility, full visibility, accurate alignment, and stable operation”. Through multi-layer collaboration of instruments, navigation, imaging and control, it effectively enhances accessibility to the bronchioles and deep pulmonary regions, and supports more reliable access, puncture, and ablation operations for deep and peripheral small lung lesions under dynamic breathing conditions. Continue to expand the clinical application of bronchoscopic intervention border.
