Recently, the 21st session of the Standing Committee of the 14th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress reviewed and passed the “Regulations on Promoting High Quality Development of the Marine Economy in Zhejiang Province”. The “Regulations” mention that the municipal and county people's governments of provinces and coastal districts shall promote the expansion of offshore wind power to the deep sea, support the development and utilization of clean energy sources such as coastal nuclear power, tidal energy, wave energy, and tidal energy, explore the construction of collaborative energy bases between sea and land, and promote diversified development and utilization of marine new energy sources.
