European Commission OKs New JV by Grampet, Shandong Wind Power

07:05 AM EST, 12/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission cleared China's CRRC Shandong Wind Power Co, d/b/a Shandong Wind Power Co, and Romania-based railway company Grampet Group's plan to form a joint venture to manufacture rail freight wagons. The commission concluded that the transaction would not raise competition issues because the venture has negligible activities in the European Economic Area, according to a Friday release.
