Damon Austin will assume the role of chief development officer at Prologis, effective Jan. 1, 2026. He will oversee all global development activities, including the company’s Customer Led Development (CLD) and Data Center businesses and other higher and better use initiatives. With more than a decade of experience at Prologis, Damon most recently served as global head of CLD. 

The Port of Long Beach has named COO Noel Hacegaba as its new CEO, succeeding Mario Cordero, who plans to retire at the end of the year following eight years at the helm. Hacegaba’s new role is effective Jan. 1. 

Swinerton Incorporated said EVP and chief revenue officer Don Adair will retire on Jan. 9, 2026, after nearly four decades in the construction industry. The board of directors has elected Chris Chany as the next CRO of Swinerton and its subsidiaries, including Swinerton Builders.  

Zonda hired Stephanie Ayres as SVP, product development, a role in which she will oversee the continued evolution of TrustBuilder and Eliant as part of the recent acquisition of Eliant. A respected and longtime leader in the homebuilding industry, Ayres brings deep expertise in customer experience, operational strategy and product innovation to her new role, according to Zonda. 

International design firm Ware Malcomb announced Alicia Pandimos Maurer has joined as firmwide practice leader and director, science & technology, based in its Denver office. With more than two decades in the S&T industry, Maurer will lead the Irvine-based firm’s dedicated capabilities in this sector.  

JE Dunn Construction announced Kyle Boehnlein as the new leader of its Northern California office, based in Santa Clara. Boehnlein brings nearly two decades of experience with JE Dunn and a proven track record leading complex projects across multiple markets, including semiconductor manufacturing, justice, mission critical and healthcare. 

On Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, the San Diego chapter of Lambda Alpha International will honor Hecht Solberg Robinson Goldberg & Bagley LLP attorney Paul E. Robinson with the Crystal Globe Award at its annual Crystal Globe Award & Installation Gala. The award recognizes an exceptional, lifetime body of work that results in significant contributions to the advancement of land use and real estate development in the greater San Diego region. 

Evocative, a global provider of internet infrastructure, has raised debt financing from a large global investment firm. The debt financing complements the continued equity support from the company’s long-term investment partner, Crestline Investors, Inc. This investment will further the company’s continued growth and expansion to support the accelerating demand for data centers and colocation space fueled by AI development.
