Today, the Chinese Center for Disease Prevention and Control announced the surveillance status of acute respiratory infectious disease sentinels across the country. From December 8 to December 14, 2025, the Chinese Center for Disease Prevention and Control will test respiratory samples of outpatient emergency influenza-like cases and hospitalized cases of severe acute respiratory infections collected at sentinel hospitals across the country for various respiratory pathogens, including the novel coronavirus, influenza virus, respiratory syncytial virus, adenovirus, human metapulmonary virus, parainfluenza virus, common coronavirus, boca virus, rhinovirus, and enterovirus, as well as mycoplasma pneumoniae.
