Aena to Buy Stakes in Two UK Airports for GBP270 Million

03:01 AM EST, 12/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Airport operator Aena (AENA.MC) agreed to acquire stakes in the UK's Leeds Bradford and Newcastle airports from InfraBridge for 270 million pounds sterling. Under the deal, Aena will buy a 51% interest in a new holding company, which owns and manages 100% of Leeds Bradford Airport and 49% of Newcastle Airport. InfraBridge will hold the remaining 49% ownership in the new holding company. Subject to regulatory approvals, the deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026.
