Currys PLC Swings to Fiscal H1 Profit; Revenue Rises

02:33 AM EST, 12/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Currys PLC (CURY.L) said Thursday it swung to a profit for the fiscal first half, while revenue increased year over year. Profit attributable to shareholders for the 26 weeks ended Nov. 1, 2025, was 16 million pounds sterling, compared with a loss of 8 million pounds in the 26 weeks ended Oct. 26, 2024. EPS was 0.014 pound, compared with a loss per share of 0.007 pound previously. The electrical and telecom retailer's revenue was 4.23 billion pounds, compared with 3.92 billion pounds a year ago. The company's board declared an interim dividend of 0.0075 pound per share, payable Jan. 28, 2026, to shareholders of record on Dec. 30, 2025. The company did not pay a dividend for the corresponding period of the last year. Looking ahead, the company affirmed its outlook, expecting growth in profit for fiscal 2026.
