NIO Energy and Zhongan Energy jointly built the first batch of 50 charging and switching stations and put them into operation

On December 18, 2025, the first batch of 50 charging and switching stations jointly built by NIO Energy and Zhongan Energy was put into operation in Anhui Province. This is a major step forward in deepening strategic cooperation between the two sides. It is also an important milestone in the opening up of NIO Energy's ecosystem and joint cooperation. In August 2024, NIO Energy launched the “Power Generation Partner” program. Up to now, it has built nearly 200 charging and switching power plants with 35 urban investment and trading partners in 25 provinces, cities and regions, and industrial collaboration has entered a new stage of large-scale implementation.

NIO has invested a total of about 18 billion yuan in charging and switching technology and infrastructure to build 8466 charging and switching stations covering the whole country, ranking first in the industry in terms of the number of charging and switching stations built. The number of NIO power exchange stations reached 3,627, 4,839 charging stations, and high-speed power exchange networks connected 550 cities across the country. In destinations with poor infrastructure but with a strong sense of ambition, NIO has opened 80 “electrified scenic routes” and opened them to all NEV users in the industry, so that trams can go where oil trucks can go.

Up to now, NIO has provided users with nearly 95 million power exchange services. 100 million power exchanges are about to be achieved, and power exchange has become the mainstream energy replenishment model.
