06:07 AM EST, 12/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The UK Civil Aviation Authority is seeking feedback on its proposed approach, scope, and mechanism for the recovery of early costs incurred from the capacity expansion at Heathrow Airport in 2025 and 2026. The aviation regulator said Tuesday it created the proposals following the consultation process it launched in August, and that the recommendations include creating incentives and other plans to improve the airport's efficiency. The consultation period is open until Jan. 26, 2026. The regulator aims to publish its draft decision and statutory consultation on modifications to Heathrow Airport Ltd's license in early 2026.
