Virbac Purchases Norbrook's Feline Hyperthyroidism Drug in GBP100 Million Deal

05:43 AM EST, 12/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Virbac (VIRP.PA) said Tuesday it acquired a feline hyperthyroidism drug from Norbrook for 100 million pounds sterling. The animal health pharmaceutical company will assume direct distribution of the drug under the Thyronorm brand in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. In the US, the product would be distributed under the Felanorm brand. In Europe, Thyronorm will continue to be distributed by Boehringer Ingelheim and Elanco before Virbac fully takes over distribution responsibilities.
