On December 16, the 330 kV power supply project for the Shangluo section of the Xi10 High Speed Rail was officially put into trial operation with load, laying a solid foundation for the scheduled opening and operation of the West Ten High Speed Rail. The Xi10 High Speed Rail is part of the Seibu High Speed Rail, an important trunk route in China. It is also the “first section” of the “meter” shaped high-speed rail network in Shaanxi, passing through the three cities of Xi'an, Shangluo, and Hubei. In order to guarantee the power source for the Shangluo section of the Xi10 High Speed Rail, the 330 kV power supply project for the Shangluo section of the Xi10 High Speed Rail began in March 2024, with an investment of 1 billion yuan. A total of 521 towers were built, 265 kilometers of transmission wires were built, 1 new 330 kV substation was built, and 2 330 kV substations were expanded. The commissioning of this power supply project will further eliminate the problem of long-chain single-circuit power supply in the Qinling Mountains of southern Shaanxi, promote energy development and consumption in southern Shaanxi, and benefit more than 200,000 local people.
