Construction has begun on the first phase of Haggard Farm, a $750 million mixed-use project in Plano. It will feature 100,000 square feet of retail space, 350 residential units, 188 townhomes, and recreational uses.

Stillwater Capital Investments LLC started site work in 2023. The Dallas Business Journal reports vertical construction on the retail buildings is expected to take about 14 months, after which tenants will begin interior buildouts. Construction of Phase One should last approximately two years.

The full 142-acre project is expected to feature about 200,000 square feet of retail, 700 multifamily units, 650,000 square feet of office space, a boutique hotel with a private social club and 10 acres of green space.

Retail offerings will be anchored by The Almanac 1856, an 8,000-square-foot farm-to-table restaurant and bar, and Haggard Hall, a 16,000-square-foot event barn.

While retail and residential uses will lead the first phase, office space is planned to follow with build-to-suit opportunities for corporate tenants.
