The Zhitong Finance App learned that Wedbush Securities believes that Tesla (TSLA.US) will perform extremely well in the future. Currently, bullish and bearish parties in the market are fiercely debating how fast the “robotaxi” (Robotaxi) era will take shape within the next year, and just a few months ago, Tesla's autonomous taxi service successfully debuted in Austin.

Wedbush analyst Dan Ives wrote, “We expect Tesla to accelerate the launch of autonomous taxi services across the US, and more importantly, Cybercab's mass production program will begin in April/May. In short, we believe Tesla is taking major steps to advance its artificial intelligence revolution process, and autonomous driving and robotics will be a core focus of its future development, which will change the rules of the game and set the tone for Tesla's future.”

Ives reiterated Tesla's “outperforming the market” rating: for Tesla, the opportunities in artificial intelligence and autonomous driving are worth at least $1 trillion; key initiatives are expected to accelerate over the next three to six months, as the federal regulatory network issues the company has experienced with FSD and automation over the past few years will be addressed.

The agency expects Tesla's market capitalization to exceed $2 trillion in the next year, and under an optimistic market scenario, its market capitalization will reach $3 trillion by the end of 2026. At that time, with full mass production of the autonomous driving and robotics roadmap, Tesla will fully control about 70% of the global autonomous driving market. Looking ahead, Ives wrote, “We expect Tesla to occupy about 70% of the global autonomous driving market within the next ten years, because no other company in the world can match Tesla's size and influence and its expanding artificial intelligence layout.”

As of press time, Tesla's stock was up 1.1% in pre-market trading to $463.87 per share, while its 52-week trading range was $214.25 to $488.54. Currently, Tesla's market capitalization is over $1.53 trillion.
