Taisheng Wind Energy (300129.SZ) plans to acquire 51% of Wuyang New Energy's shares to expand business scale

Zhitong Finance App News, Taisheng Wind Energy (300129.SZ) announced that the company's board of directors reviewed and passed the “Proposal on Asset Purchase and Joint Investment with Affiliates”, agreeing to co-invest with the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Guangdong Taisheng Energy Co., Ltd. (“Guangzhou Kaide”) and Guangzhou Kaide Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. (“Guangzhou Kaide”), the controlling shareholder of the company, to acquire shares in Wuyang Xinfeng New Energy Co., Ltd. (“Wuyang New Energy”); among them, Taisheng Energy is funded from own funds Acquired 51% of Wuyang New Energy's shares at a purchase price of 110 million yuan; Guangzhou Kaide acquired the remaining 49% of Wuyang New Energy's shares. After the transaction is completed, Wuyang Renewable Energy will become the company's holding subsidiary and included in the scope of the company's consolidated statements.

According to the announcement, Wuyang New Energy is legally constructing, owning and operating a 100,000 kilowatt wind power project located in Wuyang County, Luohe City, Henan Province. Through this asset purchase, the company will further expand the operating scale of the wind power generation business and promote the development of the company's medium- to long-term strategic planning.
