Fujian recently introduced the “Fujian Province's Common Regulations on Promoting Cross-Strait Standards”, which will come into effect on January 1 next year. The Information Office of the Fujian Provincial People's Government held a press conference on the morning of the 15th to introduce that the “Regulations” consist of 18 articles, including four parts, including positioning of responsibilities, work procedures, support measures, and application of results. The Regulations have achieved many innovations in system design. For example, it took the lead in clarifying the “four common” working mechanism of “joint selection of topics, joint comparison, joint development, and joint use of common standards”; clarified the “three adoption” implementation path of “Taiwan's advanced standards adopted by the province, adoption of advanced standards in Taiwan, and joint development and adoption of standards in blank fields”; and clarified the construction of a common service platform for cross-strait standards to support Taiwanese experts to participate in the construction of the mainland standard system.
