According to the data, the average age of the country's working population in 2023 is 39.66; among them, the average age of rural men is 41.60, the average age of rural women is 39.06, the average age of urban men is 40.26, and the average age of urban women is 38.07. From 1985 to 2023, the average age of the Chinese workforce increased from 32.25 to 39.66 years. Among them, towns rose from 33.03 to 39.25, and villages from 31.99 to 40.54.
