The China Iron and Steel Association issued a document stating that currently, the country's inclusion of steel products in export license management is an important measure to guide the export of steel products and thereby promote the high-quality development of the steel industry. It is conducive to maintaining the world's steel supply and demand pattern and trade balance, and highlights China's image as a responsible power. It is mainly reflected in the following aspects: continuous improvement of steel product export management is a key measure for China to speed up the construction of a new development pattern, continuously smooth the domestic cycle and ensure that steel products prioritize domestic demand; continuous improvement of steel product export management is a necessary measure for China to guide industrial upgrading internally and participate in international supply chain cooperation externally in the context of globalization; and promoting the transformation and development mode of China's steel industry. Standardizing the export order of steel products helps coordinate trade flows, integrate trade channels, promote healthy interaction between the international market and the domestic market, and ultimately realize the transformation and upgrading of the steel industry; and strengthen brand building and quality management.
