China Automobile Association: Automobile production and sales continued to perform well in November and achieved both month-on-month and year-on-year growth

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on December 12, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers announced the automobile industry production and sales situation for November 2025. In November 2025, automobile production and sales completed 3.532 million units and 3.429 million units, respectively, up 5.1% and 3.2% from the previous month, and 2.8% and 3.4%, respectively. According to its analysis, automobile production and sales continued to perform well in November. The enterprise seized the policy window, and production and supply remained at a relatively fast pace. On the basis of a high base, production and sales grew both month-on-month and year-on-year. Among them, the passenger car market is running smoothly, the commercial vehicle market continues to improve, the performance of new energy vehicles is strong, and automobile exports are growing rapidly.

From January to November 2025, automobile production and sales reached 31.231,000 units and 31.127 million units, respectively, up 11.9% and 11.4% year-on-year, respectively.

In November 2025, production and sales of passenger cars reached 3.144 million units and 3.037 million units, respectively, up 5% and 2.6% month-on-month, and 1.1% and 1.2% year-on-year, respectively.

From January to November 2025, passenger car production and sales reached 27.388 million units and 27.256 million units, respectively, up 12% and 11.5% year-on-year, respectively.

In November 2025, commercial vehicle production and sales completed 388,000 units and 392,000 units, respectively, up 6.6% and 8.6% from the previous month, and 18.6% and 24.4%, respectively.

From January to November 2025, commercial vehicle production and sales reached 3.843 million units and 3.87 million units respectively, up 11.6% and 10.4%, respectively.

In November 2025, production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.88 million units and 1.823 million units respectively, up 20% and 20.6%, respectively.

From January to November 2025, production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 14.9707 million units and 14.78 million units, respectively, up 31.4% and 31.2% year-on-year, respectively.

In November 2025, domestic automobile sales were 2.701 million units, up 1.7% from the previous month, and down 4.4% from the previous year.

From January to November 2025, domestic automobile sales were 24.783 million units, an increase of 9.7% over the previous year.

In November 2025, 728,000 vehicles were exported, up 9.3% month-on-month and 48.5% year-on-year.

From January to November 2025, automobile exports were 6.343 million units, an increase of 18.7% over the previous year.
