China Iron & Steel (000927.SZ) plans to join the China Storage Era Green Chain to focus on the full life cycle operation of new energy heavy trucks

Zhitong Finance App News, China Iron & Steel (000927.SZ) announced that the company will jointly invest with China Storage Group, Logistics Co., Ltd., China Packaging, China Storage Smart Transport, Times Qiji, and Shanghai Railway to establish a joint venture, China Storage Times Green Chain Technology Co., Ltd. (tentative). The joint venture has a registered capital of 500 million yuan, of which the company invested 25 million yuan, with a shareholding ratio of 5%.

After the establishment of the joint venture, it will focus on integrating shareholders' superior resources and focusing on the full life cycle operation of new energy heavy trucks. Initially, through the purchase of new energy heavy trucks, a “combined transportation and leasing business” was carried out to provide customers with logistics transportation services and operational leasing services for short- and short-haul areas such as mining and infrastructure projects, as well as medium- and long-haul trunk transportation channels such as coal transportation from Shaanxi to Yunguichuan and coal transportation into the Inner Mongolia port; in the medium to long term, it provided supporting services such as energy supplementation, maintenance, and battery cascade utilization for new energy heavy truck users and tenants, and provided green capacity digital solutions around vehicle scheduling management, safety management, charging, and operation management.

According to the announcement, the company, China Storage Group, Logistics Co., Ltd., China Packaging, China Storage Smart Transport and joint ventures have a high degree of business relationships and can form collaboration in application scenarios. As an indirect holding subsidiary of Ningde Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Times Qiji can provide the joint venture with key resources such as charging and switching infrastructure and maintenance services; the subway can provide the joint venture with vehicle operation, management and leasing experience and related customer resources.
