Changfei Optical Fiber Cable announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that the company and the placement agent signed a placement agreement on December 9. The company agreed to issue 70 million placement shares at the placement price of HK$32.26 per share. After all of the placed shares are issued, they will each account for about 19.91% of the total number of H shares issued by the company and about 9.24% of the total issued share capital on the date of this announcement. Assuming that all of the shares placed are placed, the net proceeds from the placement are estimated to be approximately HK$2,229 billion.
