Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed during his visit to New Delhi last week that fuel will be supplied to India without interruption. Kremlin spokesman Peskov said in a conversation with reporters: “As a sovereign country, India will carry out foreign trade and energy procurement in fields beneficial to itself. As far as we know, our Indian partners will continue to implement this policy to protect their economic interests”.
