According to Turkish media Altıgercek, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said while commenting on the relationship between Moscow and Brussels that Russia has many reasons not to trust either party in the context of the conflict in Ukraine. Fidan stressed that in the absence of the US, Europe needs “more creative, sustainable and reliable solutions.” He believes that the only realistic way to end the conflict is to persuade the parties to engage in peaceful negotiations, and only resort to coercive measures if necessary.
